All service providers acting on our behalf are bound by contract to process personal data only on our instructions and to keep it secure.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Some of the companies in the BOCCHI group and some of our service providers are located outside the United Kingdom, including in Türkiye and the European Economic Area. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data protection law — normally the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or a transfer to a country covered by UK adequacy regulations.

No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so any transmission is at your own risk, but we take security seriously and review our measures regularly.
If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Information Commissioner's Office and, where required, you.

COOKIES
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember your preferences and understand how the site is being used.
The cookies we use
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function, for example to remember what is in your basket, keep your session secure, and record your cookie preferences. These do not require your consent, and the Site cannot work properly without them.
- Functionality cookies — remember choices you make, such as your language or region, so we can offer a more personalised experience.
- Performance and analytics cookies — help us understand which pages are visited, how visitors move around the Site and whether anything is going wrong, so we can improve it. The information is used in aggregate.
- Targeting and advertising cookies — set by us or by advertising partners to record your visit and the pages you viewed, so that advertising shown to you elsewhere is more relevant. These may involve sharing data with third parties.
Cookies may be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
Your cookie choices
Cookies are placed on your device when you arrive at the Site. The Site does not currently offer an on-site tool for selecting which cookies you accept, so you control cookies through your browser settings.
Every major browser allows you to block cookies before they are set, delete cookies already stored, block cookies from particular sites, block third party cookies only, or clear all cookies when you close the browser. You will find these options in your browser's privacy or security settings, and full instructions in its help section. If you use more than one device to visit the Site, you will need to set your preferences on each of them.
If you block or delete cookies, any preferences the Site has stored for you will be lost, parts of the Site may not display correctly, and some features may not be available.
You can also ask us directly about the cookies we set, or raise any concern about them, by emailing contact@bocchiuk.co.uk.
Third party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services appear on our pages, such as analytics providers and embedded video or social media content. We do not control these cookies, and you should check the relevant third party's own privacy and cookie information for details of how they use data.
CHILDREN
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@bocchiuk.co.uk and we will delete it.
LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
The Site contains links to third party websites, including retailers where our products are sold. This policy does not apply to those sites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. Where changes are significant, we will bring them to your attention on the Site.
